Chamber Assembly

The Assembly is the highest body of the Chamber which exercises all the rights and responsibilities provided by law and this statute.

The manner of election and revocation of the members of the Assembly of the Chamber is determined by the regulation on the candidacy and revocation procedure of the members of the Assembly of the Chamber and other bodies of the Chamber.

The members of the Assembly of 0IK are elected by direct vote in the constituencies determined by the central election commission of the Chamber of Nurses, Midwives and other Health Professionals.

Competencies of the Assembly

The Assembly is the highest body of the Chamber, which has the following responsibilities and powers:

Approves, amends and supplements the statute and other normative acts;
Approves the code of professional ethics;
Approves the work program of the Chamber;
Approves the rules of procedure of the Chamber;
Elects and dismisses the Chairman;
Approves and dismisses the members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber;
Elects and dismisses the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of the Ethics Council;
Elects and dismisses the Chairman and members of the Supervisory Board;
Elects and dismisses the President and members of the Honorary Court;
Elects and dismisses the Prosecutor of the Chamber;
Elects and dismisses the Chairman and members of the Standing Committees of the Chamber;
Determines the height of membership for members of the Chamber;
Determines the amount of compensation (tax) for members of the Chamber, the licensing tax

and relicensing as well as the amount of the fee for issuing certificates, attestations and other documents for which the Chamber keeps official records;

Determines the amount of compensation for registration in the register of members of the Chamber;
Decides on the amount of funds allocated to the Chamber’s fund for mutual assistance of Chamber members;
Reviews and approves the work reports of the bodies of the Chamber;
Approves the annual report of the Chamber;
Approves the financial report and the final account of the Chamber;
Approves the report on the work of the Steering Council of the Chamber;
Decides on the dismissal of the Assembly of the Chamber and announces early elections.
Decides on the membership of the Chamber in international organizations as sisters, makes decisions on the distribution of gratitude and awards of the Chamber.

Examines and takes principled positions on issues of importance to the work of the Chamber.

Meetings of the Assembly of the Chamber are public and can be held if more than half of the members are present, out of the total number of members of the Assembly of the Chamber.

The meeting of the Assembly of the Chamber is chaired by the President of the Chamber.

Voting on agenda items is open unless the Assembly decides otherwise.

The Statute of the Chamber, its amendments and supplements are approved by a vote of 2/3 of the members from the total number of members of the Chamber.

Other decisions are taken by the Assembly by a simple majority of the members present.

The Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Chamber more closely define the ways of convening the meetings of the Assembly, the conduct of the meeting of the Assembly and the manner of making decisions, and other procedural and technical issues for the conduct of the meetings of the Assembly.

Upon the proposal of the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board, or the members of the Chamber, the President of the Chamber is obliged to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Chamber within 15 days from the day of receiving the proposal.

The proposal from paragraph 1 of this article must be formulated in writing together with the material of the agenda.
