OIK organizes the International Nursing Congress
The Chamber of Nurses, Midwives and Other Health Professionals (OIK) organizes the first International Congress of Nurses, Midwives and Other Professionals of the Balkans, to be held in Prishtina on 06 and 07 May 2021.
The Congress is organized in cooperation with Chambers, Universities and Nurses’ Associations from Albania, Northern Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia and Turkey. The 1st International Congress of Nurses, Midwives and Other Balkan Health Professionals – KNIPShB is an international professional congress covering the role, importance and challenges of nurses, midwives and other health professionals during the Covid-19 pandemic period, and other challenges of interest to health professionals.
While the world is focused on the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of nurses, midwives and other health professionals at this time should be highly valued given the many challenges the nursing community is going through. Therefore, nurses are at the center of efforts to prevent and manage the COVID-19 pandemic with their vital contribution to the battle for the health and well-being of the population worldwide, so this congress will address issues of interest to their role.
At this congress, calls are already open for full or abstract papers to be presented in English by all members of the nursing community, throughout the region. Papers must be original and must not have been previously published. The congress will be organized on the online Zoom platform and the deadline for application for presentation in Congress is April 20 this year.
All participants of this congress will benefit from 20 points for participation with presentation, and 15 points for participation, valid for the re-licensing process, given the fact that this congress is accredited by the Council for Continuing Professional Education of OIK- ut.
