
The CEC certified the candidates for members of the OIK Assembly, approved the Code of Conduct and opened the application deadline for Observers
The Central Elections Commission of the Chamber of Nurses, Midwives and Other Health Professionals at the meeting held on 20.01.2023 after the end of the deadline for complaints and the review of complaints at the Court of Honor of OIK, has made the final certification of the candidates for the elections for members of the OIK Assembly for the III Legislature to be held on February 10, 2023.
CEC in support of Article 7, Article 11 and Article 12 of the regulation for the organization of elections, the procedure of candidacy, election and revocation of the members of the bodies of the Chamber of Nurses, Midwives and other Health Professionals of Kosovo, no. 890 dated 15/ 11/2022, issued a decision for the electoral units in which there will be no election process on February 10, 2023 due to the equal number of certified candidacies with the number of members to the Assembly sent by the electoral unit, the candidates are considered in order automatically as members of the OIK Assembly.
Decision Certification of candidates for units in which elections will not be held:
While for the candidates certified in the units in which the elections will be held, the CEC opens the election campaign period from 20.01.2023 to 08.02.2023 in the electoral unit in which they were certified, the candidates are obliged to fulfill the rules and obligations of the relevant legislation and the code of conduct approved by the CEC.
Decision Certification of candidates for the units in which the elections will be held:
CENTRAL COMMISSION OF ELECTIONS OF OIK in support of article 1 and article 3 of the regulation for the organization of elections, the procedure of candidacy, election and revocation of members of the bodies of the Chamber of Nurses, Midwives and other Health Professionals of Kosovo, in the meeting held on 01/20/2023, approved the “CODE OF CONDUCT DURING THE ELECTION PROCESS OF OIK BODIES”. The code of conduct aims to create conditions where OIK members can choose their representatives through free, fair and well-informed elections, in a collegial atmosphere and respecting the rules of the relevant legislation. All OIK members, especially candidates for members of OIK bodies, are bound by this Code.
Code of conduct:
The Central Election Commission informs all Candidates of the OIK Assembly that they can submit a request for the permissibility of a person as an observer during the elections.
– The person designated as an observer by the candidate must be over 18 years old;
– The person designated as an observer must be on the electoral list of the Electoral Unit where the relevant candidate is running;
– The candidate must fill out the attached form;
-A candidate can submit only one observer;
– The observer can monitor the elections only if he is accredited by the CEC;
– The deadline for application is January 26, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.;
– The application is sent scanned via email [email protected] or delivered to the OIK offices.
